ARE YOU A FOREIGN RESIDENT FOR TAXATION PURPOSES AND OWN A PROPERTY IN AUSTRALIA?



Did you know that a significant date is fast approaching which is 30 June 2019, if you held your main residence prior to 9 May 2017 you may be able to sell your property in Australia prior to 30 June 2019 and apply the Main Residence exemption. If the disposal of property occurs post 1 July 2019 you may not be able to apply the exemption.
